Ok let me tell you something about the O School Recital.

I know everyone's excited, yay all about the performance thing thats gonna happen on December.
All wants to have that title shot at performing on the big stage.
Just for that short moment of glory.
But come to think of it, OMG where are my basics?
Am I joining this just to have a chance to perform?
Am I as common as everyone else out who just wants to get a shot at something not theirs?

I don't know if anyone noticed I've helped Su Ling through her CP talent thing since the beginning.
I'm not complaining about it, but I want to say.
I stopped when she was asking yet again for help for finals.
Reason simple, if I am choreo'ing for you all the time.
Why not just let me join? I might just take down the championship.
Rather than teaching you all the steps and stuff.
And you learn them and go up to dance my choreo.
You don't get to learn anything, and you won't feel proud of yourself either.

1. Its not your choreo, you're just dancing something not yours.
2. What have you learned? Just the steps? Or something more in depth?

I'm not a professional dancer, but what I want to say is simple.
What do you think you'll gain, from O School Recital?
A shot at fame and perhaps sign a contract with them?
LEARN something in depth? Like?
Maybe you get to learn some technical things, I say go for it.
But if its all steps and just steps, nothing else.
Then I'm sorry to say you're just a marionette doing the show for them.
I ain't stopping no one from going there, seriously.
You want to learn something new and get to perform, go ahead.
I swear to you all, GUC will disappear soon.
Its already ctumbling, can't you all see?
Just because of the NYP people having exams, yimin MIA for her stuff, Lime Funkmeister, O SCHOOL RECITAL.
Think about it, so many going for recital, for?
Why so excited over the recital? Big stage performance?
December, all the way till december, commitment all lost.
Daily practises, preparation for performance on O School.
GUC will disperse during that period of time.
We're a small group, not like FBodz or anyone else.
The main people disappears, the crew will fall.
There's no one to hold it up, I'm not really good leader-material either.
And we don't have enough people to hold it up.
Carry on like this, we can say good bye already.
Basics not up there yet, excited to take part here and there.
What's the point of continuously saying TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN.
You can gain more confidence up on stage, but when you don't have the basics and techniques.
You're just like the background dancer to other people.
They can't see you, you're like there to fill up the space.
Think about it, you can call me insane if you want.
I'm writing this down at 6.20am I haven't sleep yet.
Because I get fed up with people persuading each other to go for recitals.
EH JOIN LEH, JOIN RECITAL LEH, JOIN TOGETHER.
If you want to join so much, then just go.
Why pull here pull there, its not a fun camp.
By joining you're instantly taking out 3 months of that person's commitment to other things.
To do a performance up on stage whereby no one will ever know who you are.
Its like TBG, you see so many groups go up, but do you know the members of the group?
FBODZ is FBODZ, NRA is NRA.. you don't know them at all..
Gwah! Why do I care so much? Since everyone is for themselves.
So be it.
